Article: THE BEIGE ERA IS OVER

THE BEIGE ERA IS OVER

For years, beige was fashion’s favorite answer. Beige blazers, cream trousers, oatmeal knits, and monochromatic outfits dominated wardrobes.

But somewhere between another taupe-on-taupe ensemble and the tenth variation of an ivory blouse, even the most devoted minimalist was ready for a change.

Color is finding its way back into everyday dressing. Not through head-to-toe brights or extravagant combinations, but through small changes to the usual wardrobe formula. A burgundy skirt instead of black trousers. A butter-yellow knit where a white blouse would normally sit. A flash of cobalt blue that turns a familiar silhouette into something worth a second look.

Color doesn’t make an outfit any less polished. Sometimes, it’s exactly what a familiar wardrobe needs.

OLIVE, WITH A TWIST
Olive green has always had a utilitarian side, but the Sophie dress takes it somewhere softer. Its feminine silhouette balances the earthy shade, making it an easy alternative to your usual neutrals. No competing colors or complicated styling required.

THE PINK SHIFT
Who says tailoring has to be serious? Blush pink takes the blazer-and-trousers pairing beyond the nine-to-five. Wear the Frances blazer and Florence pants together for a head-to-toe pink moment, or separately when matching feels too predictable.

OUT OF THE BLUE
Powder blue takes a softer approach to statement dressing. On the Vivienne dress, a dropped waist shifts the proportions away from the usual dress shape. An unexpected detail on an otherwise simple dress.

IN THE NAVY
Not every wardrobe refresh calls for a brighter shade. Navy gets a new look through eyelet embroidery, with delicate cutouts adding texture to an otherwise classic piece.

SEEING RED
Some colors don’t need much introduction. Deep red is one of them. On the Eliana dress, the rich shade carries the entire look, leaving little need for accessories or elaborate styling. Just one dress, plenty of impact.

JUST PEACHY
Peach brings a warmer, fresher take on everyday dressing. The Odette top borrows its button-front detail from traditional shirting, but the softer shade keeps it from feeling too formal. Think of it as your classic button-down, with a little more personality.

SAGE ADVICE
Consider dark sage your new everyday neutral. The Alana pants work just as easily with your favorite white shirt as they do with a contrasting pastel. A small switch from black or beige, with plenty of styling possibilities.

Beige still has its place, but it doesn’t have to run the wardrobe. Sometimes, all it takes is an unexpected shade to make an old favorite feel new again.

We’re not breaking up with beige. We’re just seeing other colors.
