WHAT DO YOU PINK?

If you’ve long considered yourself a staunch minimalist, June 23 is the perfect date to invite the sweet pink hue to your wardrobe as we celebrate the National Pink Day.

Back in 2007, a male student in Nova Scotia, Canada was bullied for wearing a pink shirt on the first day of school because of the association of pink with feminine things. In a stroke of brilliance, two students got together and decided to show their support by wearing pink the next day. Since then, Pink Shirt Day or National Pink Day was created to stomp out all bullying and spread understanding throughout the world.

So, get on board and connect on this special day by wearing your favorite shade of pink and be proud to get in touch with your feminine side. Bask in pink splendor in this season’s staples to add to your shopping cart right now!

Embracing a new color doesn't mean overhauling your whole wardrobe. With just a few key pieces you love, you can gradually expand your range. It doesn't have to necessarily be hot pink too. Pink is pink no matter what shade―from old rose, blush and soft pink to carnation, light pink and pink sherbet. There are a ton of choices on how to incoporate wear-everywhere and anywhere pink staples that are destined to be repeated time and time again.
